On the weekend of May 4th & 5th, 2013 our amazing driver, Adam Knapik, headed to the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway to participate in the 3rd round of Redline’s Time Attack Session.

Adam bypassed a festive “Cinco de Mayo Weekend” in order to hit the track and score some points for the overall score sheet. After an exhaustive Saturday and swapping out a blown transmission he did tremendously well on his Sunday runs. Adam ended up netting the second fastest lap time overall with the only one car beating him, a 638 Horsepower Corvette ZR-1!

Adam won the RWD Modified Class AND the “Overall” Modified Class (which included AWD monsters like Subarus & Evos) with a time of 01:57.025. As a an added bonus he also won the Final Super Session race which pitted him against a more powerful Evo. Considering Adam is only running about 340 horsepower, his actions and achievements speak volumes for his driving capacity.

Stay tuned for Adam’s accounts on the day that was. Below you will find images of the event by our staff, just click on the button (If you participated in the trials and had your sticker we tagged you for quicker access).
